Duties
- Lead the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
- Carry out manual labor such as digging, lifting, and moving materials to support ongoing projects
- Installation of structures, framing, or other building components under minimal supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by removing debris and securing tools and materials
- Always follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools as needed
- Support team members in completing project milestones efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and teamwork
- Good communication skills and willingness to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in construction or related manual labor roles is necessary to include rough carpentry, finish carpentry, flooring, painting, and other handyman type skills.
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is preferred
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the construction field
