We are seeking a dedicated Construction Foreman to join our team and contribute to various building projects. This role involves engaging in the completion of construction tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality on-site. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in leadership roles on a construction project and extensive knowledge of the construction process.

Duties
- Lead the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
- Coordinating daily tasks in accordance with project priorities and plans
- Adjusting daily work plans due to weather, delayed supplies or staffing issues
- Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors
- Training, managing and mentoring employees and contractors
- Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs
- Inspecting daily work completed to ensure it aligns with blueprints, schematics, and best practices.
- Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and procedures
- Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards
- Regularly reporting project status to supervisors
- Support team members in completing project milestones efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and teamwork
- Good communication skills and willingness to follow construction industry’s best practices.
- Prior experience in construction leadership with an emphasis on all aspects of the construction process.
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is preferred
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the construction field
